Irving Penn
Ballet Theater

This photo caught my eye because of the way it was set up. Everyone is in perfect positions to not just make it look like they were posing, but it looks really natural.

I see a large theater, very famous and physically large theater. Actors and dancers rush to get there makeup done and get to their position. I smell sweat of the ballerinas and the dust of all the old props. The tension where usually u can't smell something like that because it is a state of mind. I hear soft dance music, and choreographers and directors giving out orders to make everyone 10x better. Oh its sounds like the doors are opening to let the cheery and excited crowds in. I taste the air its bitter, but sweet, pretty much like coffee. I feel like alice in her theater themed wonderland.

John Gutman
Bicycle of a Mexican Barber,
San Antonio, 1937
This photo caught my eye because of the angle that is was in. The photo looked very weird at first because it was small it actually looked like something else. Once i opened the link it totally surprised me. So from there i really liked the photo.

I see a motorcycle. Not in motion, but it still keeps your eyes in motion around the photo. I smell the work sweat of the barber after a long day at work under the hot San Antonio sun. I hear the motor slowly awakening ready to drive his owner to his destination. I taste the sensation of the driver ready to move.
