For the portrait assignment i want to shoot Christian. I believe a good place to shoot for her is either somewhere in the courtyard or somewhere where there is a lot of flowers and nature. To make this shoot successful I want to be able to use the surrounding to my advantage which is why i want nature involved, it can be used as good props bring good lighting and it just makes a beautiful background. So around the garden or that place in the courtyard with the bench.

Fixed photo shoot

This picture shows like and how it meets up at one point which is the girl and her nike at the ed of the bus.

This shows balance and great lighting which means it had good shutter speed. 

Casual portrait

This picture is vintage and has an oldies feel to it. But even with what you feel its a great photograph that is in perfect balance and its lighting is great.  

This photo uses rule of thirds and the effect of the black and white filter. 

Self Portrait

THis portrait is very serious and plain, but it shows a lot of emotion and value to it. Very balanced and great aperture.  

This photo is very wacky and goofy, but with that it shows how creative the photographer is. 

Environmental portraits

This photo was shot at a very creative angle and set up really beautifully. The whole picture is in proportion and makes it seem as though this is a real life situation. 

THe background is obviously nature. This photo uses rule of thirds to place everything in perfect balance. 

Tips

You could do it by placing your subject in a window or doorway, have them look through a small gap or even use their hands around their face.

Sometimes you want your background to be as minimalistic as possible.

Leave the full image out of focus. To do this again choose a wide aperture but focus well in front or behind anything that is in your image (you’ll need to switch to manual focussing to achieve this).
